What you’ll need
1 to 1 ½ lb boneless, skinless turkey breast
1 pinch sea salt
1 tsp coconut oil
½ tsp organic raw agave nectar
½ tsp whole grain mustard
6 thin slices red onion
Simple Prep
1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Line a broiler pan with parchment paper
3. Sprinkle salt onto each side of turkey breast
4. Heat coconut oil in a 12” skillet over medium high heat
5. When oil is hot, sear turkey breast for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown
6. Remove turkey from pan and spread agave evenly over skin side of the turkey breast
7. Spread mustard over top the agave
8. Top with slices of the red onion
9. Bake uncovered on broiler pan for 40 minutes or until the center reaches 165°
Chef’s Serving Suggestions
This is also great when sprinkled with ¼ tsp curry powder over mustard before adding onions.
Serve with the Rice Pilaf, or other steamed or roasted vegetables
